Helena Hauff is a DJ and producer from Hamburg, renowned for her vinyl-only sets and uncompromising analogue approach. She began her journey as a resident at the legendary Golden Pudel Club, where she shaped a dark and energetic style that quickly set her apart on the international scene. The Guardian described her as “figurehead for a noisy, neo-gothic imperative in techno,” and in 2017 she became the first woman to receive BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix of the Year. This cemented her status as one of the most prominent figures in contemporary electronic music. As a producer, she has released acclaimed albums Discreet Desires (2015) and Qualm (2018), and she also runs her own label, Return to Disorder, dedicated to raw and experimental sounds.
