SPACES
Amphitheatre
The Amphitheatre is intended for stage programmes, as well as hosting film screenings, concerts, and public forums. It is equipped with a movable projection screen with a projector, basic sound system, and dance floor. A climbing wall is located in the space behind the stage.
Classroom
The Classroom is a shared, co-working space for contemporary educational, communicational, cultural, and artistic programmes. It is furnished and equipped with folding tables, chairs, a projector, and a sound system and can be used for lectures, workshops, gatherings, productions, and the presentation of cultural-artistic and media content. It is open for occasional scheduled use to all individuals, organizations, and institutions in the field of contemporary culture and art and the development of social entrepreneurship.
Concrete Cinema
The Concrete Cinema is a multi-purpose space intended for films, lectures, workshops, and promotions. It is equipped with folding tables, folding chairs, a projector, a projection wall, and a sound system.
MKC Gallery
The space of the MKC Gallery is an open plan space, the central part of which can be darkened with blackout curtains, while the second floor has a projection room (black box). Apart from exhibitions, it can also be used for lectures, performances, and smaller dance performances.
The annual gallery programme is formed on the basis of a public tender issued by MKC every year in June. The MKC Gallery is used for the regular exhibition activities of MKC Split but, if necessary, also for the programmes of associations / institutions with similar orientations.
Window Display
The Window Display is the main entrance area from the plateau to the building of the Youth Centre. Apart from being a space for advertising programmes and selling tickets, it occasionally represents an extension of exhibitions in the gallery.
Triangle
The Triangle is an uncovered terrace on the south side of the Youth Centre’s building. It is open for occasional temporary use to host various discursive formats and smaller music-stage programs. The terrace is illuminated and has access to electricity.
